Mom Warns Parents After Baby Gets 2nd-Degree Burns From Sunscreen
According to an article online in DailyHealthPost, a Canadian mother is warning other parents about the danger of a kid-friendly sunscreen she used on her 14-month-old daughter that caused 2nd Degree burns after applying the sunscreen.
Rebecca Cannon used a sunscreen that was approved for children 6 months and older and followed all the guidelines on the back of the product. Despite her best efforts, the baby suffered what’s known as “chemical burn” from the actual sunscreen – NOT THE SUN!
